Welcome Back

Fáilte ar ais to a new school year! We hope that all of our school community had a restful and enjoyable Summer break. It is wonderful to see our school vibrant and active again as our pupils return to their new classes and new teachers. This morning they have been busy catching up with their classmates and sharing stories of Summer adventures.

A huge welcome to our 28 new Junior Infants, and their families who have already had a brilliant start to the year as they begin their education journey here in Scoil Cholmcille. A big welcome also to our new children in other classes who have joined the school from far-flung places such as Spain and Brazil - welcome to you all. 

Thank you to our hardworking staff who have been busy throughout the last week preparing for our return. As ever, our fantastic parent body have left no stone unturned to ensure that our grounds are tidy and clean, school books are ready and waiting, smart new uniforms are ordered and a cuppa is available to welcome new parents - they truly play an integral part in everything that is great about Scoil Cholmcille.
